Our Story

A story of yearning to be warm all year long.

I'm not one for cold weather.  As a girl living in Boston who grew up in Michigan, survival for a large part of the year is a struggle.  As a result, I travel to kinder climates whenever the opportunity arises. 

I was in Florida when It Looks Good On Me was born.  Some friends commented on how good I looked.  "Like, really good." one said.  Without even thinking, I replied, "Florida looks good on me.  Come to Boston, in January, and I will be unrecognizable."  It Looks Good On Me was born a few hours later in a wine bar.

It's about remembering what makes us feel good and holding on to that feeling and carrying it with us when times are tough or in my case, when the air is cold. 

Albert Camus summed up my feelings beautifully... "In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.  And that makes me happy.  For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there's something stronger -something better, pushing right back."

What makes you feel good?  When you feel good, you look good.  Everybody looks good in something.  What looks good on you?
